Deerwood Has been a great place to live. I have no complaints, We have lived here for a year and a 12 and a couple of times we needed to contact maintenance and they were there right away. I think dearwood runs very well. They keep the property clean looking very nice.. We are just looking for a house. Thats why were moving.

I like how we’’re never bothered unless absolutely necessary and the office is accessible to us. The maintenance team never gives a heads up that they’’re coming however and that’’s a problem with pets.

I accepted a job offer in Virginia. I love living here in Southern California. The property is beautiful, the apartments are large and have very high ceilings. The staff are amazing courteous professional. James, Fernando, Gilbert and Cecelia are always available to assist us with any inquiries or concerns.

Moving to Deerwood was a great decision, I am centrally located around everything I need. The leasing consultants help me with all of my requests during office hours. Our experience at Deerwood Apartments at 15640 Bernardo Center, San Diego has been a very pleasant one. We have enjoyed dealing with Alexandra, Brian, and Cecelia in the leasing office. Each one of them has been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The apartments have so much room and service is so fast when repairs are needed. Love it!

Our community is wonderful. Children play outside, as we raise them into functioning well rounded young adults. Lots of activity, the San Diego weather is fantastic. Lots of families with pets. Adjacent to Black Mountain Open Space Park for hiking, mountain biking etc.. The Staff are amazing, our maintenance crew are quickly at hand.

While I chose a comfortable place to live, it is a combination of all the above. It is so nice that the office staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Maintenance is quick and always so kind and thorough I know they are all just doing their jib, but it seems they all very much enjoy it. They take time to say hi outside of issues brought up. You feel as if they live here too because they care. We love it!

Never has a community staff been more catering and genuine. When moving in, it was just my husband and I, and Ryan went out of his way to help carry a few of the heaviest things up the stairs so that I did not have to. That has to be the single most greatest act of kindness I have experienced and I am so thankful. Deerwood is a beautiful place to live, the units are modern, bright, and airy, and the staff are amaizing individuals. Mandy is the sweetest, and Brian does a great job managing the property.

The office staff has been very nice, accommodating & helpful to us. The grounds are well-maintained, and the couple of small maintenance issues were handled efficiently and promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed the common facilities, and made good use of the beautiful pool and jacuzzi area. We've already recommended this community to two friends who were looking to rent in this area. Also it's been fun having the food trucks come to the neighborhood, and we've been enjoyed meeting neighbors at those functions. Overall this has been a very good experience here at Deerwood!

My roommates and I would like to share how thrilled we were when we learned about some of the special treats the residents at Deerwood receive, such as the food trucks and pizza services. We have never seen an apartment community invite or host catered food like that before. It was a pleasant and well received surprise thank you! We are also thrilled to have the storage units reallocated. We did not have a storage unit when we first moved in but now we do and it's proximity to the assigned parking space and to our apartment is very convenient. Thank you!

Oscar and Lisa were very helpful and patient during the time that I was waiting for my home to sell so that I could then move to Deerwood. I feel the price is right for everything that we get out of it: washer/dryer in apt, gym, pool, spa, conviences such as trash services, close walking distance mailboxes, great landscape, new/updated appliances, computer/printer in office. Even though my move in experience was a little out of the ordinary, the staff was very apologetic and tried to be as accommodating as they could. We have enjoyed our experience here at Deerwood, however, this is our last year. We would still recommend it to family and friends and are grateful for having such a pretty place in which to live.

I feel that the community is only 'surface nice'. In the past month, we've had two appliances break, in addition to the beginnings of a mold problem in the master bathroom. The office staff is rude. The property manager told us we shouldn't use our banks' bill pay service because if they 'were showing a unit when the mail came' our rent would be considered late and that 'wasn't their fault'. No one EVER answers the phone in the office, nor do they respond to voicemails. Emails are responded to by phone calls to the secondary (never the primary) number listed on our account. Manuel has zero customer service skills and it shows in every conversation. The property is not well maintained - many of the stairs are loose, paint is chipping on the railings, etc. The apartments are clearly overpriced for what we are getting. This is not to mention the security issues - we've had more damage to our car in the past three weeks than we've had in the entire three years we've owned it!!

Our experience with moving in and living at Deerwood has been very nice so far. We love the community and all of the staff here are very nice and professional.

Deerwood of San Diego is a 10 in my book. Their staff possesses superior customer service skills and they are more than willing to accomodate the renter. The location of the apartments to the local Marine Corps Air Station is perfect in my eyes. The community is quiet, friendly, warm and was welcoming when I initially moved-in. If it werent for my order to Afghanistan, I would be a happy camper living at Deerwood. P.S. The model apartment is the deal-maker!

I enjoyed my time at Deerwood and want to thank the staff for being approachable and caring to my needs. My experience with Deerwood has been very positive and I have always felt safe while living in the apartment. With the few complaints I did have about neighbors, staff took the matters seriously and would make sure the matters were resolved. Thank you for allowing me to live in Deerwood for the past three years and for making the time enjoyable.

I have been an Equity tenant since 2001 and I am very pleased living in this community. I would like to commend the staff at the leasing office for their quick attention in solving the few issues I have encountered over the years. Overall, I love it. Living here is great. Great customer service!!!

I love living here. The office staff are all so nice and helpful, and the maintenance service is superb. I was a property manager for 35 years and would have been happy to have such a great staff working for me.

The property management office staff are all very friendly and are always in good moods. The manager is terrific. She always does whatever she can to make sure our problems are quickly resolved. We have never had any trouble with any issue that has come up during our tenancy - which is now going on 5 years.

The maintenance staff here is excellent. In the few times, over the past 2 years I have lived here, maintenance requests have been taken care of usually the same day the request is made. FANTASTIC!
